Consolidation with the OVPSD
The Board is exploring the potential of consolidating our water company with the O.V. Public Service District (PSD) to form a single, unified system operated by the PSD. We believe this option is in the best interest of our members, given the growing challenges and risks faced by our small, 280-member independent water company. Members will have the final say on this decision in accordance with our bylaws.
We recognize that this is an emotional topic for many, and we kindly ask that feedback focus on the current situation rather than past events.

The board of the OVPSD approved two consulting agreements to analyze rates and capital improvements. Our company’s board, water-system operators and accounting staff will provide guidance and data to the consultants performing the studies.
